Built to cross borders

Early-stage capital for Fintech and applied AI in financial services & consumer-facing industries

Who we are

“In venture, category leaders can return a fund. We back founders with the experience of people who have built them.”

6igma Ventures backs early-stage FinTech and Applied AI companies transforming financial services and consumer-facing industries — built to scale across Asia, with Vietnam in every plan.

We are entrepreneurs backing entrepreneurs. Our founder brings 20 years of experience building market-leading retail banking businesses in Vietnam. We know adoption from the buyer’s side: how banks and consumer businesses choose, deploy and scale technology.

Our Circle of operators brings experience building and scaling businesses across the US and Asia — and opens doors to customers, partners and new markets.

Together, we help founders go from one market to many and build enduring, category-defining companies.

Real stories

What operator-led looks like in practice.

Not advice from a textbook. Specific problems, solved with founders.

Real Story · SEA Fintech · Due diligence

Operator-led investing case study
  1. What We Found

In due diligence on a Southeast Asian fintech, an exclusivity clause with a partner holding under 5% market share. Prior investors had not flagged it.

  2. Why It Mattered

To an operator with 20 years of bank distribution deals, it read as a hidden cap on the market, blocking the dominant partners just as scale became possible.

  3. What We Advised

Remove blanket exclusivity, or narrow its scope so it cannot block future strategic partnerships.

  4. Outcome

The founders acted on our recommendation.

Operator-led means seeing the risks that do not show up in the numbers.
