AI is moving from advising to acting. In the next phase of commerce:
- AI agents may help users search, choose, and pay
- The key question is not only "which payment protocol wins?"
- The bigger question is: what is the AI allowed to do?
- Payments will need clear identity, permission, limits, and responsibility
- This is where "Know Your Agent" may become the key control layer
